Toni Braxton was born the oldest of five chldren in familly of minister on October 7, 1967 in Severen, Maryland. Toni Braxton has built a worldwide base of music lovers. Toni Braxton was one of the most popular and commercially successful female R&B singers of the ’90s. In 1992, Braxton caught her first big break when she was asked to fill in for Anita Baker and sing for the soundtrack to the Eddie Murphy movie, Boomerang. Actress Robin Givens was featured in Toni’s video “He Wasn’t Man Enough” as the cheating husband’s wife. Braxton’s first performing experience was singing with a church choir.
